Generator issue ................................

As we all know that some boys met to director sir and asked him about the power cut problem and for its solution......
Authorities have given the solution of it as installing the gen. sets within our hostels....But how far this idea is correct to solve the problem ?
Won't it be the useless increase of our mess bills and also the wastage of fuel as there are not always the regular power cuts except sometimes(there may be some tight conditions to the power supply system like elections etc)and that we can manage with emergency lights in case of xams and otherwise except some GHISSUS(muggers) no one studies i think so and small power cuts as now a days are done in nights may be managed and also we r managing it too without any gen sets .
FINALLY won't it be the wastage of fuel and money .....and also results in air pollution ????????????????????????????????????
so give ur opinions after thinking all aspects and let not the authorities to take the wrong decision ...........

ya definately it's a waste of money and fuel.
powercut are not a big deal in case of geneal days.
we need light only when exams are going on or just a few days before them.

so i'm totally agree with baldev that there is no need of generators....
